The 43rd Taiwan's Golden Horse Film Awards

Winners of Taiwan's 43rd Golden Horse Awards, claimed to be "The Chinese Oscar", have been announced on Saturaday in Taipei. Hong Kong movies once again dominated the event this year. In recent years, most Hong Kong movies are no longer purely Hong Kong made but rather co-produced by mainland Chinese companies. Meanwhile, more and more mainland Chinese productions are co-financed by Hong Kong studios. This year, After This Our Exile, a low-budget Hong Kong drama about a father and a his infant son's bumpy relationship, takes home three awards, Best Feature Film, Best Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actor. Hong Kong director Peter Chan's Perhaps Love, a musical about a love-triangle co-produced by Hong Kong and the mainland China received four awards - Best Director, Best Leading Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Original Film Song. Chinese mainland director Feng Xiaogang's The Banquet, a Hamlet inspired period drama, also jointly produced by the mainland China and Hong Kong, received two statuses for Best Art Direction and Best Makeup & Costume Design (thanks both to Tim Yip). Do Over, a Taiwan made small drama about several men and women's stories at a new year eve party, takes two awards - Best Original Film Score and Best Film Editing

Zhou Xun won the Best Actress at The 43th Golden Horse Awards 2006-11-26 08:25:57

BEIJING, Nov. 26 -- A Hong Kong movie took top honours on Saturday at the Taiwan Golden Horse Awards, the most coveted Chinese-language film prize in Chinese cinema.

Hong Kong's Peter Chen won the best director award with his film "Perhaps Love," a musical, which had 12 nominations.

The Golden Horse Awards is the Chinese cinema's equivalent of the Oscars.

Hong Kong pop singer Aaron Kwok won best actor for the film "After This our Exile" -- the second time in a row that Kwok won the award.

Chinese mainland actress Zhou Xun grabbed best actress for "Perhaps Love."

Taiwan's last claim to fame was Taiwan-born director Ang Lee, who won an Oscar for best director for "Brokeback Mountain," in 2005.

Taiwan has played host to the Golden Horse Awards for the past 43 years.

2006 China Fashion Awards

2006 China Fashion Awards was held in Shanghai on Nov. 10, 2006. Superstars from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan attended the activity. The awards went to big names such as Maggie Cheung, Carina Lau, Zhou Xun etc. Zhou Zun won the most popular actress in the media. Congratulation!:-)

Motorola company introduced a new issue

On November 1st, in Shanghai honorable square, Motorola company hold a grand meeting to introduce a new product, MOTOOKRZR. Many stars attended this activity.
The company also announced that Zhou Xun would be on behalf of the issue in China. She would play an commercial clip of this one.
Zhou Xun said that she would held a charitable auction in order to help poor children go to school.
Concerning with many famous poeple's telephone numbers and address were publiced, Zhou Xun said that at first she didn't know why she received a lot of calls from strange people. Then one of her friends told her the reason. She stopped using this number. She hoped this would never happen again.
